Armed Forces Community Open Day
Overview
The aim of our Armed Forces Community Open Day is to have a ‘one-stop-shop’ for Veterans and their families to walk in, have a ‘brew’ and see what services are available to them (locally and nationally); plus how to access that support. Some of the services who regularly attend and provide real-time information, advice and guidance are as follows: Veterans UK, RFEA, DWP, RAFBF, Help for Heroes, Carers First, Health Watch, Op Courage (a NHS service), Connect to Support Lincolnshire, Blind Vets UK & Op Nova, to name but a few.
Please note: There is no cost to attend these events, either as a visitor or a stakeholder. There never has been and never will be!
We are pleased to offer veterans awareness seminars for those who work within the veteran’s community or for those who feel they would like to deepen their understanding of the veteran mindset. If you would like to discuss booking a seminar for your place of work, please email events@vsscio.org.uk
Let us work together to make a difference!
**Please note (due to space limitations) no seminars will be held on the Louth Open Day**
